We started off as the Plastic Credit Exchange, a single non-profit entity in the Philippines developing the whole plastic offsetting ecosystem from Standards, to projects, and credit delivery to our sustainability partners. As we grew, we wanted to ensure good governance across all our functions and split the organization into : PCX Solutions (SOLUTIONS) is now the original non-profit who owns, develops, and safeguards our Plastic Pollution Reduction Standard (PPRS), the HOPE non-profit has taken ownership of our successful 100% women microenterprenuer waste-to-cash network "Aling Tindera", and the for-profit PCX Markets (PCX) in Singapore now handles the commercial platform that serves the broader verified credit marketplace that supports funding for a global circular economy.

The aspiration for the 2 arrow mark that Zero Studio New York developed was that it would represent the movement for a plastic circular economy. Both PCX Solutions and PCX Markets were not only born of the same non-profit entity that used this symbol, but our founder felt strongly that we be proud of our shared mission, our ability to advance collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups, and deliver a more complete toolkit to partners seeking plastic responsibility.
